Te Amo

I loved Rated R, I thought it was one Rihanna's best albums to date. It was raw and edgy. One song off that album called Te Amo was one of my favorites. When I heard the lyrics, I didn't really understand at first. It seemed that she was talking about a woman, but I never knew RiRi was Bi, or a Lesbian, so it caught me off guard. I love this song, so I was pleased that she made a video for it. What surprised me though is that it didn't seem to get any publicity. I found the video randomly on the net one night. I can't help but feel that if it was Madonna or Lady GaGa, that it would have probably gotten more attention. Heres my opinion, maybe its because Rihanna is still considered to be an Urban artist (aswell as being pop), and maybe the Urban market still isn't ready to acknowledge songs, and videos about homosexuality, even when done tastefully. So videos such as Te Amo get overlooked and not played as much...I'm jus sayin ..
